Wood Stripping

Not all wood is suitable to be Dip Stripped.

Certain woods can have the natural oils taken out by the caustic, This can leave the wood warped or looking and being weak and brittle.

These woods are better hand stripped with a completely different organic chemical mix that does not distress the wood but removes the paints, varnish, wax or oil.

Woods that are more commonly stripped this way are Oaks, Walnut, Teaks, some Elm and some Birch
